Program Description – Fully Funded France Eiffel Excellence Scholarship 2026
The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs created the France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship initiative to help French universities draw top international students to their master’s and doctorate programs.
It seeks to educate upcoming international decision-makers in key academic disciplines from both the public and business sectors. The scholarships cover two primary disciplinary categories, which include the following seven disciplines:
Technology and Science:

- Biology and Health
- Digital sciences and mathematics
- Engineering Science
Social Sciences and Humanities:
- French Language, History, and Civilization
- Political Science and Law
- Management and Economics
Qualification For Fully Funded France Eiffel Excellence Scholarship
Before applying for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship 2026, applicants must meet the eligibility requirements:
- Interested candidates must meet the requirements set by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and Campus France.
- Applicants must be international students (Non-France indigene) who wish to pursue Master’s, Engineering, or Doctoral (PhD) degrees in France.
- Applications Through French Institutions Applicants cannot apply directly to Campus France. All applications must be submitted via French higher education institutions that nominate candidates for the scholarship.
- Candidates must apply for an eligible and accredited Master’s, Engineering, or Doctoral degree programs.
- Applicants for the Master’s level must be residing outside France at the time of application submission.
- Doctoral or PhD candidates who are already studying in France can also apply for this scholarship. However, priority will be given to applicants residing outside the country.
- Note that each institution is responsible for selecting and submitting candidate applications to Campus France. Therefore, ensure you meet the university’s requirements before applying.
